It's easy to enjoy a book in which the author's style is so full of self-deprecating wit and humour. Annabel is an incredibly funny storyteller but it's not only the hilarious tales that drew me in. The small throwaway lines and pure humanity on display throughout the book are what truly makes this an essential buy.

Kept giggling reading this. Disturbing the family. Now my children know what “preppers” are and will be pestering me to buy 270 loo rolls. Definitely recommend this book.

I can't remember the last time a book made me laugh out loud so much. Annabel has a great ability to tell stories about all the silly things Geoff makes her do. Really enjoyed it.
