Angels & Ashes was so good!! I just can't get enough of this series..

Following on from Heaven Sent book 1

Darcy's whole world is torn apart with the death of her husband. Blaming the MC for his death, she tries to keep her distance. Not knowing what happened is killing her though...

Raze has to know, and she hates him for keeping it from her....
Yet, at the same time, can't help how her body reacts to him. How can she want him? He is the last man she should ever be attracted to...

Raze is a broken man..
After his wife's betrayal and his brothers death. Then trying to keep on top of club business, it's all taking it toll...

He isn't looking for another women, but finds himself drawn to Darcy. Even when she's a pain in the ass and the last person he should be looking at. He can't seem to fight his feelings..

Will Darcy find the answers she seeks?
Can Raze fight his feelings?
Is Darcy the one that can save him ?

Loved Raze and Darcy's story - both are very strong, take no nonsense characters. When they're together it like fire meets fire...Seriously hot!!
Full of action, suspense, love, heartache and twists that will have your head in a spin. Avelyn Paige, took things to a whole new level with this book. I can't wait to read more of her work <3

Book 2 in the Heaven's Rejects MC series is based around club president, Raze and Darcy; the widow to the former VP, Jagger.

After Jagger was murdered, Raze told Darcy that it was a bike accident that took her husband's life. However, not believing what she sees as an obvious lie, Darcy will not just let it go until she gets answers to what happened to him.

Raze just wants to protect his club, protect his family, and these days he's finding himself also wanting to protect Darcy, and not just for his fallen brother.

These two were a great couple to read about. Her tenacity in her pursuit of the truth was admirable, especially when faced with some big brawny bikers in her way. Her interactions with Raze were equal parts fiery and humourous as Raze tried his hardest not to just take her the way he wanted to. I can understand her feeling guilty when she realises she has feelings for Raze, it's "only" been a year since her hubby died, but I thought the whole relationship and her emotions regarding it all were written really well.

The story kept it's pace nicely, there weren't any "filler" bits as it moved between things happening; even when it was daily stuff, there was always something happening in the background, all leading up to the big exciting showdown at the end. I have to admit, I did figure out one of the surprises before it was revealed, but the other one I was not expecting.

I really enjoyed Angels & Ashes and it gets 5 stars from me. I can't wait to see who will get a story next. I'm hoping it will be Ratchet!

I'm really enjoying this series and I'm glad these two broken souls were able to piece together eventually, even if they had to go through a hell of a lot to get there. It was a tragic story full of heartache and despair, anger and love. These emotions... you can feel them while reading this story and I feel the author wrote it really well.

The only thing I couldn't connect with was Darcy. I understand her grief and need for revenge but I feel she was just too much. She was shoving her nose where the sun don't shine one too many times and I'm honestly baffled as to how they even managed to screw without her strangling him.

I loved Raze though, I couldn't picture the cover model as him but it's pretty darn close. The cover is hot, I love Alfie Gardillo. (BTW, the cover has nothing to do with my rating, I'm just commenting that I love it.) Raze is every woman's wet dream, he's complete bad*** but he's broken. He has feelings that alot of club member wouldn't dare show but he does to Darcy. I'm glad he sticks up for what he believes in too.

The storyline was EPIC! In a good way of course. I love where the author took this and imagination she used to fulfil it. I love the betrayal, the secrets and the suspense that kept me hooked.

Overall, I enjoyed the book I just feel Darcy let it down just a little bit.

I am really loving this series, it just gets better and better.

Darcy is a woman that has suffered loss and this loss has turned her in to a vengeful person. She wants payback, wants those to suffer that has caused her to lose which was so special to her. She at first turns her back on everyone, but then changes her mind as she needs those that she calls family.
One person in particular feels her anger, but this anger turns in to something else.

Raze, president of the Heaven's Rejects MC wants vengeance on those that took away his brother. Secrets come forward about the betrayal his ex wife caused. Hunting for the truth takes him to a place he never thought he would go. Feelings come about that were hidden deep down.

I loved this book, it was full of angst, emotional scenes and some very hot scenes as well
