Review

"5 Moons... I really liked this story...a story of love, hope, trust and the true belief that if you really with all your heart believe, there is an angel waiting for you to ask for help. I must ask, how many times have you turned your head because you felt someone watching you, just in time to see a shadow disappear?"
--Book Obsessed Chicks

"5 Stars... McCarty makes us believe in angels with Angel to the Rescue... This story was really beautiful and page turning... If you are looking for a great read where angels and love are present, then you'll have to read Angel to the Rescue."
--Pen & Muse Book Reviews

"Rating: 4.75... Rachel and Jake are a couple that you know in your heart should be together... And the way they come to the realization of what they want for the future is too amazing to miss... I loved this book from start to finish..."
--Once Upon a Romance Reviews

From the Author

Angel to the Rescue is the second book in the Mystery Angel Romance series. The cast of characters are different for each stand-alone love story, but the novels are similar in that an angel has been hidden within each plot. The angel's identity is not officially revealed until the finale unless the reader figures it out first. I hope you enjoy the story.

HASH(0xa2c0b8fc) out of 5 stars Angels are everywhere 13 Dec. 2013
By Pamela Sheppard - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Rachel Kelly is a child psychologist very much in love with her Lt. Jake Dillon. Jake is a police negotiator. Their lives could not have been more in tune and perfect when Jake asked her to put his name on the mortgage she was about to sign for a little cottage. But to make things even better, he not only wanted his name on the mortgage, he wanted to make Rachel's last name Dillon instead of Kelly.

Rachel's world just flew out of orbit the day Jake asked her to be his wife. But more importantly he wanted her to be the mother of the dozen or so children he wanted. How could the day been more than all one could have hoped for. Rachel had the man she loved, the home they had chosen and children in the future. Nothing could ever bring her down out of orbit. Until they returned home and she got a call from her mother. That call had Rachel's world down spiraling back to earth. And her relationship with Jake ending.

Rachel and Jake must see each other living in the same town. As Rachel tries to find her way back to Jake she takes on three new young patients that will again change her life. Jay and Emily ages thirteen are each having problems in their respective homes. Each problem different from the other but just as harmful. Neither wants to open up to Rachel. And then there is Alex, just turning six with the deposition of an older child. Alex, sees and speaks to Angels. What has she gotten herself into now. During on session, Alex tells Rachel not to worry because an angel is coming to help.

When a hostage crisis erupts. Rachel and three special children are in the middle of it all. Jake must rescue the one and only woman he loves, stop a crazed man, and keep the children safe and sane. But unknown to Jake, he has help. The angels come to the rescue.

I really liked this story. All the characters were not know in the beginning of the story. As she unfolded the story she introduced new characters and disclosed what parts they played in the story. Some are keep at bay until their time to be known and they fit right in place as needed. This is a story of love, hope, trust and the true belief that if you really with all your heart believe, there is an angel waiting for you to ask for help. I must ask, how many times have you turned your head because you felt someone watching you, just in time to see a shadow disappear?

HASH(0xa2c73228) out of 5 stars McCarty makes us believe in angels .... 30 Dec. 2013
By Denise, The Pen and Muse Book Reviews - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
McCarty makes us believe in angels with Angel to the Rescue. Angel to the Rescue revolves around two main characters who are Rachel Kelly, a child psychologist and Lt. Jake Dillon, a police negotiator. Both Jake and Rachel’s lives are very insync and they are very in love with each other. Everything is falling into place with their love and world until Rachel receives a call from her mother. This changes their relationship and from there they do not see each other. Rachel is still in love with Jake and tries her best to get back to him. Meanwhile, Rachel starts to council three young children, one of them who is Alex and speaks to angels. During a session, Alex has seemed to pick up on Rachel and her life. He tells her that there is an angel coming to help her. Suddenly we see Rachel and the children in the line of fire when they become hostages. Will Jake be able to help them and where are the angels Alex is talking about? This story was really beautiful and page turning. Children like Alex have such a spiritual connection and it shows. I myself am a big believer in angels and it made me love Alex’s character even more. I was also rooting for the couple and hoped they that they would get their happy ending. If you are looking for a great read where angels and love are present, then you’ll have to read Angel to the Rescue.

HASH(0xa2c49ee8) out of 5 stars Great story 11 Feb. 2016
By Bella's blog - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the time reading anything by Petie McCarty and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this great story. The author has given us a great story with awesome main characters and the secondary characters as great and help to pull the whole story line together. This story will pull into it's pages and will you there from start to finish. The heroine of this story is Rachel Kelly who just happens to be a child psychologist with a great passion towards children and one handsome ex boyfriend Jake. Poor Rachel has a secret that she can't share with Jake ,that's tearing her apart. And as for Jake Dillon who is sexy ,handsome ,hero police Lt,who specialist in psychological profiler . And who truly loves Rachel very deeply. These two seems to suffer some misunderstanding. But one thing about this amazing couple is they are both very proud. Then there's Jay and Emily who are youngsters with problems that no kids should have This story has an ending that will surprise you. I could go on and tell you how this story ends but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this great story you won't be disappointed.

HASH(0xa2c73c30) out of 5 stars I have to say I really enjoyed this book 4 Feb. 2016

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. Going into this book I have a few reservations because of how I felt about the first book but Rachel and Jake’s story was a great story. This story will pull so many emotions out of you. I enjoyed every second of their love story because not only did they make it a great story the secondary story line made it so much better.
Angel to the Rescue is a must read to me, Ms. Petie definitely drew me into this story and kept me there until the end. I have to say there were parts of the story I was like OMG I can’t read but IO stoke threw and was so happy I did.
This story while not long will hold you and won’t let you go. The plot, emotions, and characters will draw you into their world and hold you tight. I would read another book from her anytime .
