Mary is an amazing author, this is a spin off from the crossroads saga,
Last time we met the twins they were newborn angel babies, now they are all grown up and about to start their lives as a venator helped and supported by the lovable uncle Davin.
A must read for all crossroads fans well down Mary

COVER COMMENTS
So this cover features a female angel, most probably a venator. (personally I think the female represents Michael and Claudia's daughter Lucia)The angel is standing firmly with her feet planted on the ground with her sword pointing downwards in a strong stance. The sword points down into the title part of the book. The T in Knights on the cover has a sword as the T. The background of the top two thirds of the cover as what I would call a "mushy""mystical" blue, which I would say is to symbolize the "good" and the "angelic". The very bottom third is coal black with red bits too, which I'd say embodies the "evil" "bad" demons. So the two shades, to me epitomize the "angelic" and "demonic" forces within this book.
So would this cover make me pick this book up from a bookstore shelf? Being totally honest,I should point out that I am kind of biased as I have read the whole Crossroads Saga Series and consider myself a Michael & Claudia fan! But purely on the merits of the cover, I think I would want to pick up the book to learn more about it.

INITIAL THOUGHTS
I readily admit that I adored the Crossroads Saga and totally fell in love with Mary Ting's version of heaven and the afterlife too. As you do when you love a series I became attached to the characters of Michael and Claudia, as well as Davin. . . .then came Michael & Claudia's twin's Zachary and Lucia. After reading Eternity the fourth and final book in the Saga I was a little lost wondering where I would be able to get my "Angel Fix" read. To be totally truthful the "Angel" genre is not one I would say I am a great fan of. . . .

I am so excited for this series!! Mary Ting invites us back to the Crossroads world. Introducing us to Michael and Claudia's children!! Get ready to be pulled back into the world of angel's and demons as they risk their lives to keep the world safe. Who could as for more?! Zachary and Lucia have become Venators. Demon hunting is what they were destined to become. It is dangerous as they learn pretty quickly. They need to be ready for what is coming. They need to be ready because it means the difference between life and death. Not everyone will survive what is coming. It is up to Michael, Davin, and Claudia to make sure Lucia an Zachary are ready.

I love Zachary and Lucia already. They are the twin children of Michael and Claudia. They have the ability to talk telepathically to each other. They are as close and would die for each other. They are Always looking out for each other. Michael has fought with them and is fiercely protective. I always imagined Michael would be like a lion when it came to his children. I was not wrong, he would do anything for them. Michael and Claudia still have a love that most people long for.

It was awesome to get to read about Michael and Claudia again. I am excited to see what will happen with their children's mission. It is going to be a fun ride I am sure. I hope we get to have more of Michael and Claudia's point of view as well. I'm just so excited for The Chosen Knights and to see where this story will go.

I was given this book for my honest review

The Angel Knights (Novella) is a Prequel to the actual book The Chosen Knights releasing on 3/22/2016.

This book will give you a powerful insight to what more powers and strengths that the venator’s have in store for the demons of the night. The black and white mists that become a transformational sight will set you up for the gasping this book will surely have on you. The most important thing that you will take away in this book will be the journey that this author brings Angel and her friends on. Be prepared to go on a journey like no other within today’s world. Find out where by picking this read and The Chosen Knights on 3/22/2016.

If you’re a fan of this author’s Crossroads series you will be a fan of this spin-off as well.

Author Mary Ting doesn’t only bring a paranormal world into this book but she brings us to a current state as well.

The mythical of demons and venator's bring such a humanistic nature to this book you will have to keep your guard up for the known can be really the unknown.

Stay Tuned for The Chosen Knights and see where the journey really begins.

Happy Reading

*** This book was given to me by the author in exchange for my honest opinion. ***

Let me tell you right away that I am not really a fan of spin-offs. Well, at least I wasn't until now! Mary Ting has done her magic once again!

As soon as I started reading the novella, I got emotional and even teary-eyed. I have missed the Crossroads gang soooooo much! It was like meeting beloved old friends or family members after a really long time. I just felt like jumping up and down and mentally hugging them all. It was wonderful to see my boy Davin again (lol), Michael and Claudia and meeting their children. The only person I was disappointed wasn't included was Austin. Since this is just a prequel novella, I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see some more of him in The Chosen Knights.

This is a whole new generation of Venators and the stakes are getting higher than ever with evil lurking once again.

Brace yourself, everyone! The best is yet to come!
