Top Customer Reviews
Only the 2 tracks with Ron Holden are missing due to a belief that the Rosie credited on this 1961 duet were not her either. But they are included on the Lonely Blue Nights CD from 1996 on the Gold Dust label-the first for Rosie & the Originals in the CD Age-which states that Bring me happiness and So dearly were made by Ron Holden and Rosie Hamlin.
And as the disc probably only sold a few copies why even bother trying to fool anyone into believing the girl was Rosie?
For what its worth "Ron & Rosie" were Roy Quinones and Lucy Dalton backed by the Velveteens and the recording was licensed to the Donna label which just happenned to be the label Ron Holden recorded for!
They were able to get away with this deception because they just used Christian names!
The booklet shows a photo of Rosie Hamlin as a child along with some quite stunning ones of her as a fashion statement
But the mind boggles when you think what collectors pre Internet have paid for this single!
