Andy started writing his first book, "As They Slept" almost by accident. After a heartfelt Facebook post fell on deaf ears, Andy decided he needed to prove a point. Fed up with his fellow commuters wasting time by sleeping, he vowed to write a book in the time that they were wasting. He promised he would write a book 'As They Slept'
The book became an Amazon Bestseller, reaching #1 in Biographies and #38 in the overall Amazon kindle charts. It's currently available for just £0.77p.
In December 2014, Andy released 'Minimize Me - 10 Diets to Lose 25 lbs in 50 Days', another book derived from a self-imposed challenge. Fed up with failing to lose weight thanks to boredom, Andy tackled it head on by devising a 50 day plan whereby he would change his diet plan every 5 days. The book focuses on the funnier side of dieting, but there is some helpful, practical and even some inspirational advice in there too.
Andy continues to write all of his books on the train as it is the perfect place to establish a writing routine. There are no distractions or temptations and the view, unlike a study, is constantly changing.
