I'm really disappointed with this product. I realised a few days before Christmas that the leg of lamb that I'd purchased for Christmas dinner was too long for my normal slow cooker so I had to go supersized.
This arrived quickly but on unpacking it the dial on the front was not attached to the cooker. That was no huge problem as it pushed on quite easily (it has fallen off a few times since but I think I've got it to stay now).
The main problem that I have with this cooker is that it seems to get far too hot on the 'low' setting (and, no, I didn't put the dial on incorrectly, it's shaped so it can only go on in one position). I put a huge leg of lamb on about 11pm Christmas Eve but had to come and turn the cooker off at about 3am as it was practically ready! I have since made a curry in it and the thing was bubbling away on the low setting which doesn't happen in my regular sized or mini slow cooker.
The bowl was also slightly chipped but it was on the outside and on the handle part so I didn't think that would adversely affect anything.
I've debated sending it back but I've decided it's too much hassle. I will just know that if I need it for a leg of lamb again then it's not going to cook it as slow as I wanted it to so I'll have to be much more careful.
