Beautifully crafted and excellent quality. Attractive and does the job well. Prompt delivery, very happy with it. I use it for reading during meals (when alone). I had, in fact, had a similar item made especially for me when I was a student to hold a book whilst I took notes. This one is differs from the one I designed in that it packs completely flat and can be slid into a bookcase alongside my books and is no thicker than an average book. I designed mine, however, with copper wire for page holders which allowed me to bend them to hold the pages of thinner books fully open. Highlt recommended

Nice appearance. The only problem is that the base tends to warp into a curve, making it wobbly and difficult to close. This is more or less inevitable as all the pieces of wood in the base are laid the same way, a fairly obvious weakness which should have been sorted out at the design stage. In use, warping can be controlled by leaving it closed with a heavy book on top, but this shouldn't be necessary.

The stand does not fit together when I close it, so it wont go togeher all the way and takes up more space when storing.

Good quality product. The wood is very nice quality and the product is extremely versatile. It supports extremely large books (up to 1000 pages), as well as tablets etc at a variety of angles for appropriate reading.

Solid, sturdy and a nice addition to a worktop. While this folds away nicely I normally leave it out ready for the next time that I go to use it. Good variation in viewing angles and deep ledge mean all shapes and sizes of cookbooks fit.

Pros:
+ Good quality, solid feel
+ Oak, excellent finish

Cons:
- Price, but only if your looking for something cheap to use and then hide away
