But never mind that, I purchased this purely for Download Festival. I based my purchase on reviewer images, as it seemed a suitable size for what I needed. And it does the job at a pretty low cost.
Plenty of side pockets and straps for places to secure tent and other items. It feels sturdy and up for the job.
I’m all packed ready to go. If it holds out for a good few festivals, I’ll be happy. If not, I’ll splash out on something more robust and of the correct size.
This was a last minute order for a camping trip with my partner. Contacted the seller and asked if they could get it delivered any sooner as we were due to leave 3 days later. The company replied immediately and managed to get the bag to me a day sooner than the initial minimum delivery date. Which was fantastic.
When I got to packing the bag it managed to hold more than I expected, with plenty of little pockets and straps to hold enough to keep 2 people alive. The bags pretty light when empty, although this may be due to a lack of structural support and padding. The padding and straps are the part of the bag that could use improvement. The straps at the hips especially are just thin nylon, which really starts digging in and fails to shift any of the weight from the shoulders. Once you adjust to the pain its fine.
Overall good bag for the job, not recommended if you've got a hard trip, this isn't for comfort, it's for holding a lot of stuff at once... and at that it succeeds.
Good: looks nice, material was strong, compartments relatively spacious, inexpensive, was able to fit 20kg of stuff in, felt very sturdy and didn’t rip or break during my travels
Bad: zips on some compartments hard to close, horribly un-waterproof, drawstring top loading feels a little unsafe, material smelt funny after getting wet, the waist and chest strap provided no support was quite uncomfortable to wear with it full and caused some friction burn on my shoulders.
All in all for 26quid this was a good buy. Ideal for a couple of days but prolonged trips I would spend a little more.
It feels about an average weight for a backpack this size when empty. It's spacious, but probably more like 75-80l than 120l.
The bag itself seems decent, zips are OK, and has lots of pockets, stitching isn't bad. More like showerproof than waterproof - heavy rain will soak through.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend. It's not worth risking back injuries just to get a cheap backpack. Won't be buying one again.
I went for the fluorescent deep pink which made my brother laugh at me, but it was really easy to spot at the luggage reclaim at the airport and getting off buses, etc.
Loads of little compartments and a bit big enough to hold two pairs of shoes below the main compartment.
Unfortunately, right out of the box, before I had put anything in, one of the rear plastic strap buckles wouldn't fasten correctly. This was my first warning something was wrong. I was already travelling, so there wasn't much time for a replacement. I hoped for the best. Yes, I filled the pack, but it didn't seem like an unreasonable amount of weight. it's not like I was travelling with a pile of rocks or a cast iron Dutch oven collection. In about a week, the pack just, for lack of a better word, melted. First, very minor things failed --- tiny cords on the zipper ends fell off. Things quickly got serious. A different plastic strap buckle fell apart, this time on the shoulder strap. Only quick field repairs made it useable at all, though very uncomfortable. Next stitches came loose. It went downhill from there. It's a wonder I made it to a stopping point without losing gear. If I had been deep in back country, I would have been sunk.
I've never had other backpacks, like Kelty packs, fall apart like this. Honestly, I'm very angry. I would have returned or exchanged it, but on my trip, every ounce counted and I had to dispose of what was left of the pack as soon as I responsibly could.
I always read on Amazon about some unlucky buyer who gets counterfeit goods or low quality items that factory quality control skipped over. I guess it was my turn. I don't know whether all packs are like this. Maybe, maybe not. I don't feel like taking my chances a second time.
Top international reviews
a b c d e
+ 70L+ hauptfach
+ extra schuhfach
+ robuster stoff
In sostanza, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.
