About the Author

Keith Seddon was born in London in 1956. In the 1980s, at Hatfield Polytechnic and at University College London, he pursued his interests in the humanities and philosophy, acquiring his PhD, addressing the metaphysics of time, in 1986, after which he worked as an educator, tutor, and associate lecturer in a wide variety of contexts, at all levels of further and higher education. His wife of 37 years, Jocelyn Almond, for whom he had been her full-time carer, died in 2014. He lives in Hertfordshire, England, where he makes Anglo-Saxon lyres and composes music for the instrument. He is currently completing a translation of the Middle English Christian mystical writings of Julian of Norwich and recording notes on the philosophy of pessimism.
