Be careful when buying those as 2:1 isn't as significant as it sounds. If you have almost any Apple/computer cable and want to reenforce them you're better off buying 3:1 as to get the tubing over the head of the cable you'll need to go large and then they don't shrink enough - I've had this with my Lightening cable and MagSafe cables.
If you do have this issue try popping a spring (one from a pen will do) around the cable and push it up so that it covers the joint from the cable to the head. This makes it a little thicker so the wrap can hold, and reenforces your cable a little more. You can also get bigger springs on Amazon for next to nothing for thicker cables.
You also may be better buy ones with adhesive inside to ensure they don't move - but all in all this product is exactly as advertised just isn't the best study out there.
If you have an iphone i recommend using this to reinforce the charger cable. I used it to fix my girlfriends cable that had become frayed and it worked perfectly, i have since used it on her new iphone cable as a preventative measure and is holding up well!
