This has been a great read and guide for getting to know Amsterdam. I have only read about half way through and thought i would leave a few words before i forget to give the author a thumbs up. It has plenty of information about where to visit, good hotels, transport (really helpful) and other info. This will be much better to take on a trip on a kindle to the Dam than taking a paperback guide. Thanks.
I just want to say that I live in Egypt in New Cairo. The Aurhor of this book visited Cairo and went to visit the school were I am in now. We got to talk to her and she gave us writing lessons for the whole week. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!
I don't just like this book because I met the author but also because I am from Holland and the capital of Holland is Amsterdam.
I hope she will keep on writing e-books. And for miss Donna Dailey I really liked the book week with you.

I find many travel guide books rather heavy going and somewhat dull in the way the information is presented. However, these authors managed to include heaps of information about not only Amsterdam, but also The Hague and Rotterdam, in an interesting, light, and easy-to-read fashion. I felt the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere of Amsterdam was reflected in the authors' style, yet there was still more than sufficient useful information in the book to guide your round Amsterdam and its surrounds.
