There simply isn't any need for expensive HDMI cables when there is stuff like this on sale. Works a treat between the PC (output from an ATI 5770) into the TV, picture and sound transmitted without any issues. Superb quality cannot fault it.

One tip, if you have an ATI card you need to open the catalyst control centre and set overscan to 0% in order for it to fill the TV screen. :)

These amazonbasics cables are some of the best quality cables I've ever come across.
I remember when hdmi cables were fairly new it wasn't uncommon to pay £30 or more for one I remember my dad buying a TV from curry's and coming bk with a £40 cable because he'd been conned by the staff.
The fact of the matter is quality wise on screen you wont tell a difference between a £1 cable and a £50 cable.
I had 1 problem with the £1 cable in my theatre area I have one of those beer fridges and every time it turns on or off I got a loss of picture.
So I brought the Amazon basics cable and no loss of picture as its shielded.
great cable and from a great shop :) I own around 4 now, highly recommended lol.

What do I say...... it just works well.

As it's HDMI 1.4 compliant its compatible with the latest developments including 3D. I use one to connect a Panasonic plasma 3D TV to a Virgin Tivo HD box and another to a Panasonic 3D blu-ray player, and the results are great.

Cable quality is good and it has gold connectors. Its billed as AmazonBasics, but is anything but basic.

Other HDMI cables that I bought have been up to three times the asking price for this one. At the price you can't go wrong, it's a bargain.... this is a good value cable that does the job well, highly recommended.

I bought this cable to connect my computer to an LCD television so I could watch iPlayer and use my computer's Blu-Ray drive on my television. After spending ages looking round the shops at all the expensive gold-plated rubbish (HDMI is a digital signal, gold plated wires make no difference!), I bought this cable which does the job perfectly well at a fraction of the price the shops wanted to charge me.

I bought this cable to use with my PS3 console and I can say that it works perfectly, It's the 3rd cable that I have bought from Amazon. The picture quality is top notch and it also supports 3D signals which is a mega bonus at these prices. If you need a HDMI cable, look no further than the Amazon Basics range.

This is my second purchase of an AmazonBasics ethernet channel 1.4 HDMI cable and I intend to buy more as the first choice in reasonably priced and robust quality cabling.

I'm impressed with the quality of the cable which features moulded plugs and has withstood my regular and daily unplugging and swapping between different mobile devices. There is simply no justification given the high build quality of this AmazonBasics cable to spend more money on allegedly premium cabling. The research evidence - easily available via Google and obtained using lab quality colour calibration and sound equipment - is that at least under 5 meters there is no advantage to buying a so-called premium cable.

The cable is made according to the HDMI 1.4 spec and features ethernet support which I use on a Panasonic TV to share an internet connection between devices that would otherwise require separate ethernet cables. This will, obviously, only work on devices that support HDMI 1.4 (or greater) ethernet passthrough on HDMI but the cable will otherwise work fine on any HDMI device including the old 1.2 display I have! I must say that I actually much prefer a straight ethernet connection rather than the, in my experience, less reliable HDMI ethernet channel system. This isn't a problem with the cable - I've experienced the same on other "premium" cables and some ethernet channel HDMI devices will no doubt have better software/chipsets than others.

I would not hesitate to buy the cable again and, when and if I can afford a HDMI soundbar upgrade, I'll be buying another few cables!

I have tried this cable with 3 laptops and two different hdmi sockets on my tv, (Admittedly the fauly could be with my TV) but the picture does seem to disappear for a few seconds every now and then before it comes back, i find it annoying to have to put up with this. However picture and audio quality is very good for a cable of this price which is why i decided to give it 3 stars.

Can't fault amazon's service though, had this delivered to one of their pickup locations for free (otherwise would have had to pay £3.99 for delivery) which chances are isn't too far from where you live if you select this option.

Impressed with the quality and have had no issues using it with different tv's do far. The only thing I would say is that if you need a particularly flexible cable, then you may need to consider an alternative.
