It's speaker wire, however while it's not the top of the range, it's value is great.

For my needs, I've wired up a new workshop with 60meters of the stuff for a 6ohm surround sound setup (no longer than 11meters per speaker)

Before you buy/install, I'd measure if your speakers will cope as it is a little on the thin side for larger speakers.

As a guide, for this 16 awg (1.3mm to the rest of the world) if you have speakers rated as below, try not to exceed the wire length per speaker:
2 ohm = 3.6 meters
4 ohm = 7.3 meters
6 ohm = 11 meters
8 ohm = 15 meters

If you are unable to get within those figures, chances are you'll need either a thicker 14 or 12 awg cable instead 👍

I was quoted an extremely silly price for some speaker cables from my local hifi shop, it was actually more than the cost of my Denon music system, for just the cables! Nope, not having that.

I replaced the 'proper' speaker cable supplied with my sound system with two longer lengths of this cable and I can hear absolutely no difference, none, not a dicky bird. I have used this to replace the supplied cables with my denon as they were both around 2 feet too short for where I needed to put the speakers and I used it to wire up the amazing little DROK® Mini Stereo Audio Wireless Bluetooth Amplifier Digital Signal Power AMP Electrical Portable DIY 30W*2 Two Channel Amplifier Board Module Aluminum Body with UK Power Adapter for Speaker Auto Car Motorcycle Tablet PC Smartphone TV Iphone iPad iPod Laptops with Bluetooth (Blue) thingy to some speakers that would have otherwise ended up in the loft gathering dust. In both case this cabe performs perfectly. I am sure some audiophiles will say that I should be spending hundreds or thousands of pounds on my cables, but I don't think my ears are thousand pound ears!

I like music and I am very fussy about sound quality, as far as I can tell the sound quality provided by these cables is perfectly fine.

Excellent cable for the price. Not visible in the photo but the one side does have the black line so it's easy to see which is + and -.
The quality is very good and I had no problem connecting it to my new Denon AV receiver and sounds great. You don't need to buy expensive cables!

Got this to hook up my Wharfedale Diamond 11.0 Bookshelf Speakers Blackwood and can say they did the job with ease. I did want to change up the design of the cables so they were not just standard looking cables coming out of the speaker.

If any one wants to do the some type of project of insulating the wire in a sheath then you can pick up some 4mm Paracord like ( XIAONAN 100FT 31M Type III Mil Spec 7 Strand 550 100% Nylon Paracord Parachute Cord Rope, Retail Packaging, Red ), heat shrink wire wrap ( Am-Tech Heat Shrink Wire Wrap Assortment (127 Pieces ) ) and some banana plugs ( UGREEN Banana Plugs 24K Gold Plated, 8 Pair Closed Screw Banana Plug Connectors for Speaker Cable,Corrosion-Resistant ,8 Red, 8 Black ).

Packing was simple and easy to open, the cable came with so much that even if you make a mistake you have plenty spare to try again. It delivers great connection to the speakers with loss of audio quality.

I’m no expert but this speaker cable doesn’t appear to be CL2/CL3 certified and therefore should not be promoted alongside ceiling or in wall mounted speakers. According to online research, I understand you must use fire hoods and certified cable for ceiling speakers because if you don’t and you have a non-related house fire your insurance company may not pay out. Otherwise it’s perfectly good quality cable and well worth the bargain price.

Cannot fault this cable, audio quality is excellent and the cable is superb value. I have a much thicker grade of cable on my regular hi fi system as I am an audiophile into hi fi in a big way. These are a lot easier to connect to the amp and speaker terminals but I bought them for my DJ studio as I am a freelance club DJ.

Don't allow the bargain basement price fool you, this is excellent quality cable and can be comfortably used on any system.

How can this stuff be so cheap? It is proper thick speaker cable thats over £1 a meter in your local stores. Its perfect for quite powerful systems. Its cores are thicker than the 13amp mains cables.

This speaker cable is great value for what you get I bought this a while back but forgot to review ii , it's very difficult to know how good it is compared to more respected makes
, I did try to read up on the world of cables it kind of left me more confused and I was amazed how much you can pay , there is obviously improvements with good quality cables but I suppose everyone set up will be different and their expectations , and how they listen to music will affect the quality of sound, ( I read reviews on Amazon which helped me choose this )
