It doesn't do Snapchat but it does do Facebook, Twitter, iPlayer, Spotify, Kindle, Youtube, and loads and loads of other things. Music sounds just fine through my car hi fi or my bluetooth speaker. Video quality is perfectly acceptable if not pretty darn good.
Set some money aside to buy a case and expansion card.
For this money though, you simply cannot go wrong with this product.
AND ONE OTHER THING. Yesterday I thought I'd lost it. The house was indeed hunted high and lowby myself and two others trying to console me. Eventually I gave up and sat in a sulk. Then it cam to me.Read more ›
I can honestly say once turned on that I was pleasantly surprised by how responsive the user interface was. I half expected it to respond late when clicking on an app, but no each app opened instantly. I tried YouTube and Skype and both of them worked instantly, were very responsive and carried out the task in hand with much ease. The speakers are very good for the price, they provide decent sound and are relatively loud. The built-in microphone has no problem in dealing with calls during Skype and the receiver informed me the call quality was very good indeed.
The screen size and quality is good, provides enough to achieve its purpose for someone who wants to browse the internet yet have something portable so this definitely fits the bill. As an e-reader I have not personally tried this but have received positive reviews from other friends who have purchased this exact product for that purpose.

For those expecting a high end tablet experience you're deluded, for those mocking this for it's low end specs you are a snob. So it can't play demanding games? So what, it's a tablet, if you buy a tablet for gaming you've really no right to complain about performance. Buy a laptop or a PS vita instead. What's the point of paying the price of a decent laptop for a tablet you'll carry around like a delicate holy relic?
This is about media. Books, music, web and general apps you will use.You can use it for music I suppose, no real reason you can't but a phone is the the same and you're more likely to be carrying one but by all means.
Tech stuff that was thin on the ground - this does take USB devices like memory drives and keyboards. In this day and age it's no surprise that the Logitech K400 works perfectly allowing you to type documents on the move.
Alternative ereader apps be loaded onto it so you can epub away, netflix is there so you don't need to be a prime member if you don't want to (as a student it's a no-brainer to be a amazon student prime member at half price) and it can take an SD card up to the financially prohibitive at the minute 128GB.
I'm happy with it, a tablet that I can actually use out and about and not need a mortgage to fix it if I drop it.

Really enjoying using this. My eye-site isn't brilliant so I find this much better to use than a phone. Can get some good apps to use on it. Read morePublished 11 hours ago by 80s Lisa
