Having appeared earlier in the year as a one sided white (and known then as 'MR DJ - Always), 'A Permanent State' is a bouncy - tech stomper from top South London lad, David James.

It comes, as ever, in four mixes: the Original's been reworked by David himself, and is the same, but bigger, fatter and, better. Mixes come from Hoxtons' favourite techyish - housers, Medicine, who turn in a crisp and very workable, er, techyish houser, Twisted's new boy on the block Tom Stephan, who adds some tribal phunk in his Superchumbo guise, and Waveform, who goes all bad bwoy on us with a tearing bass line and slamming breaks.

A top tune, with mixes coming from every angle, whilst keeping the quality quotient high. If we didn't know better, 'its all good' would be our closing line.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic single! 24 April 2003

This is absolutely great song which I can recommend for any DJ playing electronic music. The tempo is great for dancing, and the single never becomes boring. Really a standout song!
