Well I've now read all the books in this series and at 48 years old I'm a bit past the typically described teen readers age. I loved all the stories in this series of Angel, Alex, Sal, Sofie and Romero. Once I had read the first book and found it was a series I read them all. Make sure you read them in the correct order or you may spoil the story in another before you have read it. I loved how all the characters had such intense relationships and in a way I think it took me back to my younger years when I would have chopped off my right arm to have such an intense passionate relationship as described in these books. My body may be 48 but in my head I'm 20!

firstly let me start by saying i really didnt like valerie in this book she was a hypocrite! she walked away from Alex coz she thought he was cheating when she spied on him and saw a woman go into his house!! BUT she then go pissed with alex for having someone watch her because she was in danger and she kept meeting up with luke behind alex back, but it was ok for her to get angry and upset but she didnt seem to care that alex was feeling the same after she kept little meeting with luke a secret!!!!! HYPOCRITE!!!!!! and this made me not like her very much and i liked her in the first book about angel and sarah.

it was great to have all the original characters back and to seem them as adults, and i like how each couple get there own story to tell. i also loved that angel and sarah got married.

i liked the story but didnt feel that bruce was explained enough, i dont under stand how u can see someone then stalk them there must be a reason behind it.

over all a good read with a HEA.

Alex is one of the Moreno brothers, like the the others he's incredibly handsome, he is also the biggest physically, tall and muscular. Alex and Valerie had been together at college, he had been a football player and really popular with all the girls. But he seemed to only had eyes for Valerie. That is until he messed up. Valerie told him she never wanted to see him again. That was a year ago. But now with a wedding coming up he knows he will see her again as she is the brides cousin. Alex had never been able to quite get Valerie out of his mind. The first time they meet he goes all out and as soon as he gets her alone he kisses her, but Valerie is not doing this with him again and lets him know that.
This is a good story, that draws the reader in from the first page. Valerie had been really hurt by Alex, and did not want to go through that again. But Alex is determined to get her back no matter what. Regardless of whoever else might be interested in her. Between Alex and her manager Luke, Valerie has a job to keep a clear head, so she doesn't need another problem a stalker.
Once again the author gives us a great male lead in Alex he is really protective and a bit bossy, he would like to wrap Valerie up in cotton wool, but she's having none of it. Valerie having been hurt is wary of Alex, it does not help that every time she looks at him her heart melts. But she has an independent streak a mile wide, and refuses to hide away from the danger she now finds herself in.
This is a enjoyable read, a second for me by this author. I was prompted to try this after reading and totally loving Noah (5th Street). I cannot in all honesty say that "Always Been Mine" is as good as Noah, but it is still a solid three star story for me.

This is the first story I have read by author Elizabeth Reyes. I have to say I am very impressed!

This story of love and vengeance constantly had me shouting at my kindle, whether it was a glaringly wrong mistake Alex or Z. Made or the suspense of the psycho stalker.

I am determined not to go into any detail that will effect the way you experience this awesome story. So as vague as this review maybe, I encourage you to give it a try, I usually prefer my romance sweet and smooth with maybe some paranormals thrown in, having said that this story is balanced well.

A great read um looking forward to reading more by E Reyes...

Second book of the Moreno series, this time focusing on the Middle brother, Alex and Valerie (Sarah's cousin from book one).

This time we have a relationship that breaks up at the beginning, Valerie finds him apparently cheating on her, ends it for the last time and here, we are introduced to her roommate Isabel. We fast forward quite a long time before Alex and Valerie are reunited for a wedding shower/rehearsal/thing as she is maid of honour and Alex is brother of the groom and it all starts again from there.

Valerie can't take the "other women" anymore and so lies that she has moved on, conveniently, there happens to be a colleague interested in her so she decides (with some advice from Isabel) to give things a go with Luke. We also have a psychotic ex, who has a dangerous obsession with Valerie, which also progresses as the story goes on.

I liked this book more than the first, this time, although we do have the whole cheating allegation issue again, I found the Bruce element particularly interesting with the way his stalker ways develop and how dangerous he becomes and that was more prominent for me than the rest of the "issues".

Valerie is much more outgoing than Sarah from book one and Alex is the hot headed brother - they all are but he more so. At times I wanted Valerie to be a bit more vocal about Bruce, she plays it down and keeps quiet but then if she had taken action in the beginning, then it would have been a different story.

We also get glimpses back to Angel and Sarah and this book sees their wedding, which I thought was a nice touch and adds to the series. At no point in any of the books do previous characters cease to exist after their story is told and I really enjoy that.
