Being a complete novice like a two year old just learning to talk! All I can say
if I could have purchased this book 1st I would not have spent anymore money
on other books. This book tells you all in simple terms what to do and when to do it!
Which when you're a complete beginner this is what you need!
So don't get any other book until you have got this and read this one!
The chances are you won't buy another one. Happy Gardening
This guide tells you all you need to know - there's a bit about the best layout for the plot, the sowing, planting , harvesting and pruning times for crops, sections on vegetables and fruits, tips on digging over an uncared for plot and then keeping it going etc.
I'm sure that the most dedicated allotment holder might want a bit more detail, but I certainly expect this book will do me just fine for the first two or three years.
