About the Author

Megan Hart writes books. Some of them use a lot of bad words, but most of the other words are okay. Her more than thirty novels and short stories, featuring a little bit of everything from horror to romance, include the USA Today bestselling Switch and the 2012 RT Book of the Year, Tear You Apart. She can’t stand the feeling of corduroy or velvet, and modern art leaves her cold. She can’t live without music, the Internet, or the ocean, but she and soda have achieved an amicable uncoupling. Great book. Read the first Quarry Road and had pre ordered this as it was a book you could switch off with..Ideally read book 1 first as you will probably be a little lost otherwise.

4.5 STARS

Megan hart finishes her Quarry Road Duo with All the Secrets We Keep and surprisingly, I liked it even more than book one. I was a bit surprised by that because I had no love lost for Ilya in the first book, but Hart worked her magic. In no time at all I was firmly invested in Ilya's story and rooting for him.

Ilya is used to being a disappointment. He lost his wife to a drowning accident clothed in secrecy, he married her sister, but that ending in divorce and the business he started with her is a step away from being lost. Losing his grandmother seems to be last straw to break him until he is reunited his Theresa, his short lived stepsister.

Theresa was Ilya's stepsister for a year, until his mother kicked out her addict father. She returns for his grandmother's funeral and to try and see him through his failing business. She tries to convince him to sell and somewhere along the way her long ago feelings of sibling care turn into something deeper and less familiar. Just when things seem to be turning around for Ilya abs he finally has a glimmer of hope, secrets from the past put his future at risk.

Megan Hart gave this book duo an excellent conclusion. This was a little less heavy than book one, but just as exciting and emotional. Hart always writes stories that wrap around you send refuse to let go and this is another great addition to that list of work.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED ILYA & THERESA'S STORY! 13 Jun. 2017
By Susan S - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
In this conclusion to Megan Hart’s Quarry Road duet, “All the Secrets We Keep” hones its focus in on Ilya Stern and Theresa Malone, while keeping us up-to-date on the burgeoning romance between Alicia and Niko, that first sprung to life in book one—“All the Lies We Tell.”

Picking up right where the first book left off, Theresa doubles her effort to convince Ilya to sell his share of the business that he previously co-owned with his ex-wife, Alicia. In the process, the two become closer, and soon they embark upon a new business venture just as romantic feelings begin to develop.

As the story unfolds, the reader gains a greater insight into Ilya’s state of mind, as well as a greater understanding as to his feelings of inadequacy--especially as it pertains to the women in his life. Theresa’s own problems with her father rise to the surface, shedding light on her dire financial situation. But even more importantly, disturbing information surrounding the mysterious death of Jennilynn (Ilya’s girlfriend and Alicia’s sister) is finally revealed, giving them much needed closure to an open wound that was left to fester for far too many years.

While the strange dynamics between all the key players in book one was quite intriguing, it’s this second part of their story that truly held me captive. The many revelations that followed in “All the Secrets We Keep” definitely immersed me even further into the story, but it’s the deeper understanding I gained about Ilya that made this story go from good to great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looking back isn't always the best way 3 July 2017

Continuing from the first story the author brings us right back to Quarry Road. We get more backstory, we get more romance between another couple and I felt like fighting right along with them to make their dreams come true. Some of the darkness from the first story is given light in this one, and we get some resolution to other questions we had. More questions lurk and only a really strong love is going to make this couple move forward.
5.0 out of 5 stars Breath through the anguish to reach the end - beautifully crafted story! 7 July 2017

I was waiting for this book to come out! After falling in love with the depth, pain and beauty of the first Quarry Book, All the Lies we Tell, it seemed to be forever until this one was available. And Megan Hart did not disappoint. We return to the small town in PA with characters Alicia, Niko, Ilya and Theresa to unravel the mystery of their lives and breath through the anguish they all experience. The web of lies each of them has been trapped in astounded me at the end - other people's lies - and how well Hart crafted the plot with twists and surprises blew me away. I think I'm going to miss these characters, I cared about them so much in these books!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read! 14 Jun. 2017

I thought the first book was good, but this one tied everything up. I liked that she wrote for all four of the main characters, and kept with her strong and complicated leading ladies. Megan is a fantastic author and I highly recommend any and all of her books!
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first 28 Jun. 2017

I debated reading this book after reading the first but I'm very glad I did. It's a much faster read and there are satisfying resolutions to questions left unanswered in the first novel. I began to get an idea how the secret would be resolved but there was a twist. I was intrigued enough by this novel to try another by Ms Hart.
