As a funeral adviser and co-author of We Need To Talk About The Funeral, a practical guide to arranging funerals, I find this a useful anthology. Chosen by poet Don Paterson, it includes some beautiful, ancient Japanese poems and a good number of international poems. It would benefit from the inclusion of some more modern pieces, but it gives a good alterative to the normal fare so often heard.
