Lisa Renee Jones wraps up Chris and Sara’s love story looking towards the future and their own happily ever after. Chris is an artist whose past and present collide forcing him to take a long, hard look at what it is he wants and he wants Sara McMillan in his life; but first he must process and accept that which he cannot change. Guilt, misdirected as it is, weighs heavily upon our hero’s heart and soul.
Mark and Crystal play a cameo role, along with Chris’s godparents, and the security personnel from Walker Brothers Security. There is some resolution into the death of Rebecca and subsequent arrest of those responsible but Ella’s story is only beginning. Lisa Renee Jones has plans for another spin off series focusing on Sara’s still missing, best friend Ella.
Sara and Chris have grown throughout the series taking the reader through a retrospective of their lives as well as the people with whom they have forged friendships and alliances; disappointments and loss. Rebecca’s final words are woven throughout the final installment-acceptance and sorrow woefully interlaced into a love story that she will never be able call her own.Read more ›
I have loved this series from the beginning and this book just finishes it off nicely with a HEA for Chris & Sara but also including a little Mark & Crystal. I did really enjoy the start of something between Chantel and Rey. Looking forward to more from Lisa.
I think this was the perfect ending to this series. It left Ella's story open, which I am a bit sad about, but at the end Lisa does make a note that Ella is getting her own books so that was okay with me even though I REALLY wanted to know what happened with her.
We get closure on a few things from all the other books, including Mark and Crystal, not just Chris and Sara. Just like every other book, I couldn't put it down because Lisa just sucks you in and you can't escape.
The only reason it wasn't five stars (besides not getting Ella's Story) was that the naughty scenes seemed repetitive and just thrown in when in the other books they were more important I suppose because of Chris and his 'coping methods' so to speak.

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Onto the final book – and it’s been a great read. There’s things I love and things I dislike about the series overall, but for this book I’ve been so glad to finally get some closure. Ella is to get her own books though, before we find out what’s happened to her.
So, Chris and Sarah are finally on the home straight. There’s still problems of her accepting he’s so wealthy, of his need for pain, of things in both their backgrounds that affect them, but they’ve found ways to deal which is essential as problems don’t just go away because we want them to.Finally they’ve recognised them, talked and found a way forward. The sex scenes were pretty hot once again and fitted well, though in this book I was astonished sometimes at how they ever got anything else done!!
The case against Ava and co is finally closing, but after all the long drawn out things that have happened it seemed to take a back seat, and was over almost as soon started. I just expected a bit bigger and more expansive conclusion to that part as it was such a major plot. It looks like justice for Rebecca is in sight at last. She’s had such a huge impact on all these characters, and been the catalyst to bring them together in ways we’d never have imagined. Without her Ava would still be pining after Mark, he’d still be at loggerheads with Chris, not be with Crystal, never have met Sara, and of course Sara would never have met Chris. Strange how the world works..Sara and Chris are planning their wedding and that takes up a lot of this book, Tristan is still angry over Amber and grieving, but there’s light ahead even there.Read more ›
“I can’t promise you won’t get hurt,” he says softly, “but I can promise you I’ll never willingly let you go,”
This was a short but sexy story, and a perfect end to Chris and Sara’s story.
Chris and Sara were really in love in this story, and they were also really in tune with each other. They knew when the other needed them, and we more than happy to sacrifice for the other’s happiness.
“I will protect you, Sara. It’s a vow I’m taking for the rest of our lives. I won’t let you get killed. I can’t lose you Sara. I won’t lose you.”
The storyline in this was pretty good, and we found out about what had been going on with Mark and Crystal, found out a bit more about Ava, and also got some more insight into the wedding plans!
“We’ll take this one,” Chris announces, no give in his words.
I turn in his arms to face Andre and Chantal. Andre’s staff of at least 10 has gathered around them, and I can’t help but grin as I say, “This is my dress!”
There was obviously romance in this book, and we didn’t have to wait for some sexy scenes!
“He gives me a quick up and down inspection, approval flickering in his eyes. “Nice, but naked is nicer.””
The ending to this was pretty good, and we also got to witness Chris and Sara’s wedding!
“Soon,” he whispers, sliding the rose onto my left hand, “You’ll be all mine.”
7.5 out of 10.
