I can't do a review of this book without talking about Simon aka thingsmydickdoes because I love him longtime. And I want him to be loved and to love and I don't know how long his blog will go on because being in Evie's head made me think about the girl who loves Simon. What she must have to put up with whilst women (and men I guess) feel they have free reign to proposition her man. I want his blog to go on because he has a great belt, super veins, armporn is strong, and THAT freckle!
Does that make sense? If it doesn't go to Tumblr or Twitter and find his blog - warning NSFW! He is too hot for Facebook but does have a stunt double.
Architects are hot! I think it's because they plan their erections meticulously. Josh Cartwright is seriously spank bank material. And Evie Mills, respect to a woman who can grout her own tiles - and no it is not a euphemism, I love her dirty dog. I love her fixer upper house.
Happy, sunny, funny read with some sad times thrown in and what is going on with Drew??????????
However it didn't grab me, it had plenty of sex scenes and sweet romantic moments but it lacked grit for me.
It was OK.
Yes, this is a romantic comedy, but it’s so different. Seriously, what would you do if you were an attorney and a potential client contacted you to protect his property, and said property is quite a “package”….if you get my drift? This is just the situation Evie finds herself in. Josh runs a blog, All About the D. Now, an adult toy company wants to replicate what Josh is packing. He needs protection for negotiations, and he needs his identity to be concealed. It could possibly ruin his family’s reputation. Evie needs to bring a big client into her firm, and Josh is certainly big…This is her chance, but things get complicated between the two of them when they meet in person. The sparks fly, but if the two get involved, it could have far reaching consequences. Get ready for one heck of a romance that will leave you breathless and HOT!
There isn’t anyone who couldn’t love Evie. She’s beautiful but has no clue that she is. As her BFF tells her, “You’re passionate about work and the people in your life, you’re witty and unassuming.” It just those things (and her curves) that Josh finds irresistible.
I feel the same about Josh. No woman could resist this man. He’s stunningly hot, witty, and intelligent. He’s from a prominent family, yet he’s worked hard to make his life a success. He’s torn about his present predicament. He’s scared of his family finding out about his blog, yet he’s likes that little bit of wickedness, and so do I! I guarantee you will too!
As I wrote earlier, the chemistry and sex is scorching! But, the writing is phenomenal.Read more ›
Ive been a big fan of Lex Martin from the very moment I stumbled across her book Dearest Clementine so I was super excited when I heard she was co writing this book! Leslie McAdam is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what this duo was going to bring us! They had me hooked though from the very first page! I signed up for this event without reading the blurb and I still hadn't read it before going into this book which is totally alien for me, to be honest I'm glad I did though it really gave me a surprise while I was reading!
This was a filthy, sexy, flirty, sweet yet funny rom com that you couldn't help get sucked into! I have to admit the d!ck jokes were one of my favourite things about this book!!! I'm partial to a d!ck joke or two myself so this was right up my alley! The fact that Josh could laugh about his blog and the things he got up to really endeared him to me! The humour in this book was a great element and one that really entertained me!
Josh was amazing if I'm being honest, he was the black sheep of the family but that never mattered to him because he was always there when someone needed him and was always thinking about how his actions would affect his family! The way he treated Evie was beautiful but then there were the scorching hot scenes between the two where I could nearly feel the sparks through the pages!! There was really knelt one time I felt like blattering Josh, the fact that he could t understand why Evie was upset by one of the aspects of his blog really annoyed me, other than that he was damn near perfect!
Evie was great too although there were a few times I got slightly frustrated with her character!Read more ›
