Alignment is important in all aspects of business, e.g. research and production. The author could have said a bit more about how to get the alignment process to happen. Change usually takes some selling. I was not quite clear who was supposed to be acting on his excellent advice.
The book is also beautifully crafted and designed, aiming to get the key points across with no padding. While many books may lose your interest after one or two Chapters, there is little risk of that happening with Alignment. It's stunningly put together and visually exciting to bring its message home.
It is short. It is to the point. It has a great message. It will make you pause, think and (hopefully) act!

The message of this book is an important one - that sales and marketing departments need to work together and the book gives some excellent suggestions as to how this can be accomplished.
