I have to say I wasn't too sure what to think about this book when I first heard about it, then after watching the National Geographic Special in which Doctors Boan and Taylor featured prominently in, I decided it might be a good read.

If you are expecting a normal UFOlogy book with speculations and conspiracy theories in it, then you would have wasted your cash. This book takes UFOlogy to the level it need to be, Scientific. The first chapter pulls no punches and is very heavy going, it would be a good idea to brush up on basic Science and Mathematics before approaching this book. However it is not so difficult as to put it in the league of only those with Degrees.

It looks at many factors and dissects then in a controlled and rational manner. It uses scientific techniques to discern many probabilities in the world of 'ET'. It also goes over two famous scientific principals used by Skeptics to say why there is no life in the Universe, the Fermi Paradox and Drake's Equation and effectively helps expand them and show up the flaws within these thesis's.

It also addresses many factors that seem to have been forgotten by those interested in the ET/UFO scene. It also talks about how to effectively address the problem of ET invasions and indeed furthering our Technology base.

So if you are after a well written book that gives it straight, that is scientifically sound and serious then this book is for you. If however you are wanting conspiracies and hear say, then this is not the book for you.

The Rocketcity Redneck applies himself to the possibility of ET invasion in this very detailed book. Everything (and I mean everthing) that could defend humanity from the slimey claws, paws or tenticles of ET is looked at from good old nukes to new space suits and mecha (human piloted robots). Laser weapons are also included though given the huge vehicles they need to operate something like MTHEL would stand out and be difficult to hide.
The conclusion that seems to be reached is that humanity would not win in a set piece shoot out and the only method to resist is to set up resistance groups of Taliban-like fighters . Such a life would be tough with young women kept in non-stop childbirth to keep the number of fighters up ,while other non-combatants would be working in clandestine factories to produce the weapons and equipment to allow the fight to go on. If kept up it might force ET off planet.
This book is well put together though the mathematics at times is hard to follow. Recommended

This book is honestly in the top 5 books i have ever read. This book acctually makes you look up at the stares in a diffrent way. Most of the books explains the maths involved in simple tearms even i could understand lol. The only bad point i can find is that in the later chapters the maths is not explained as clearly so peopel who arnt mathermation will wind up getting lost :L. I woudl recomend this book to everyone.Happy Reading :)

The book is full of equations which are discussed in detail.
The kindle version did not show these equations, instead showing a broken HTML string at each location.

After multiple remove/reinstallations I had to get the Kindle support team to assist and even they couldn't fix the problem.

In the end had to get a refund.
