I don't often leave reviews as I am not good with words but I could not let this one go by without at least saying how brilliant I thought it was. As I read so many books and own at least 200 that I have still to read I have to keep my titles on a database to ensure that I don't purchase the same book twice. I also give them marks out of ten. Out of the hundreds of books I have read I have only given 10 out 10 twice before I read this one. Alien Honor has become the third.

I have not read any of Vaughn Heppner's books before but I will be reading more. Apparently I should have read the Doom Star series before this one. I will now be doing that while I await the next Fenris novel.

The Doom Star series is probably the best sci fi I've read of this generation. While some people still love holding a book in their hands to read, I took full advantage of my Kindle by downloading the next of each series within a minute or two of finishing the last, usually after 11pm. I couldn't wait to read the next one! It's been quite a while since I read the last of the Doom Star books so when I found out that Mr Heppner decided to continue the story, I had to check it out. ...and I'm glat I did! In my humble opinion it's another page turner. Within minutes of fininshing this novel, I was looking for then next.

Space opera of the traditional kind, sequel to a previous trllogy.
It's not Shakespeare but it is what it is and efficiently done. It was interesting enough for me to go for the rest of the trilogy.

This came free with the Samsung Kindle App, which didn't bode well. I've read huge amounts of SF but had never heard of this author, so was unsure what to expect. Unfortunately it was badly written, in the style of someone with the reading age of a nine year old. I couldn't take any more of the plodding, simplistic style, so gave up on it about a quarter way through. I'm surprised it made it to a third chapter, let alone a third book. For me it was "Unpickupable" but, clearly, other readers seemed to have enjoyed it.

A great read, it took me a couple of months to read as Xmas stopped my reading. I love Arthur C Clarke books and I would say this was along the lines, nothing too heaving and some interesting ideas of what the future may hold. If you like Sci Fi books, then buy this book. I also think that if you enjoy the Star Trek films, then this book is good for you as well.
The size of the space ship they travel n is amazing and how they travel at such great speeds is an interesting concept as well. Suitable for all ages in my opinion, but not less then 13 year olds and great the older people like me (55).

I enjoyed this read and a fast moving plot is good, but there are so many twists and turns in here it is difficult to keep up. The innumerable plot twists drowned the character build ups, I will however be straight into book two.

An excellent read, a little confusing at first with the small parts about Klane but is clarified by the end of book 1. Showing the connection and leading into the next book which I hope is not too exorbitant in price!

A different take on sci-fi that I have read before. However, it was interesting although rather short.
I would recommend this.
