Reading through the other reviews there are good points, yes the crowd weren't very impressive, but hey! since when do you buy a DVD to watch the crowd!! Apart from the audience the DVD was amazing, good quality sound an vision and alice was his good old self with some excellent mix of new and old material!
Love the sword and cape thing!
Speaking as someone who was there, I was up the back though, I went to watch and listen. Watching is half the fun of alice cooper and you can get all that from the DVD, which I think the crowd stood in awe at a man who is truely a god in the heavy metal world, alice! alice! alice! alice! alice!!
Most of the new album is there, but so are many of the classics - School's Out, Poion, Ballad of Dwight Fry, Under My Wheels, Elected - plus a cover of My Generation.
The extras include the "Gimme" single video, which is both well-edited and funny at the end. This was previously only available on the CD single. The Song Selection is handy for letting you jump to your favourite track.
The only let down with this DVD is Alice's voice isn't always up to the same high standard. It could be the fact that this was recorded after maybe three or four consecutive shows around Britain, but whatever the reason, the memory of that Glasgow concert will always remain better than the video reminder.
however, Brutality live [among all other alice cooper live shows] really is live eye candy, with proggresion throughout the set, really one you'd want to watch aswell as listen. with an exelent set list with new and old material, and in such a good order, they run together so well,
i was pleasently surprised when i saw alice on the Monsters Of Rock tour in november 2002 when i found the set and stage antics were almost identical to that of this DVD and couldnt have hoped for anything better

of rock, and this live performance proves he's still number one.
Filmed in London in July 2000 Alice and his band put on a brilliant
show, plays all his classics plus newer songs from his 'Brutal Planet'
album as well as some rarities, complete with Alice's infamous
execution. However this VHS version looses a star as 2 songs played at
this show, 'My Generation' . and 'The Black
Widow' plus drum solo, are omitted from the program. Both of these
songs do appear on the DVD version so buy that if you want the full
show un-edited, otherwise this VHS is still a great watch.
I'm only 12 and since i started to get interested in Alice and told my friends about him he has been revived in my school.
Alice has taken on a new more gothic look, singing songs like brutal planet. Which appeals to people more of my age groupe.
A must for an Alice fan!
This Is The Ultimate DvD For Any Billion Dollar Baby....
The concert itself is very good although after the introduction the new songs don't really make it apart from pick up the bones. The guillotine worked well as always and the show really takes off when Alice emerges from the 'frankenstein chamber' to treat us to some great oldies. It's hot tonight, school's out and you drive me nervous were excellent and the encore with billion dollar babies and the cover of my generation brought the show to a pulsating climax. If only he could have included my stars and hard hearted alice in the oldies section.
In summary a good first half an excellent second half spoiled by the poor camerawork. Still well worth having though!!
