A small book with glossy paper, bright coloured pictures, and a touch of info on the artist as well.

A neat little package that presents some of Mucha's more famous and popular works, each with a small paragraph of history and detail. The presentation is neat and concise. Despite being a rather small book (midway between A4 and A5) the quality of the plates inside are particularly fine! You almost wish you could take them out and put them up on display.

However, don't go expecting a huge wealth of information. A tiny paragraph is all the publishers saw fit for each print, with a handful of pages for info to cover Mucha's entire life and work.

Having visited the Mucha Museum in Prague, this book provides a nice resume of many of his artworks (though only glimpses of The Slav Epic which is a shame). The quality of the pictures is good and for the 'casual art gallery visitor' it is an ideal reminder of what I have seen.
