This is a great rucksack for me and my two kids to use on the beach etc. The pocket at the front is big enough for my stash of plasters, hankies, calpol sachets, sanitizer, wet wipes etc, and the flap at the front allows me to fold a picnic blanket or towel in, or loop through the kids jackets/cardis. The main compartment would benefit from a zip pocket to keep my purse in, but its a good size for a towel, rain jackets or swimwear, hats, suncream and still put a picnic on top for us, which stays cool with just a small ice pack most of the day, especially if left unopened. The large net pockets on each side are great - I put large drinks for the kids in them, or the bubble wands etc. The handles are padded and seem stitched well - no give in them yet after a dozen or so excursions. My only wish would be for that internal pocket for security.
