I grew up in the English Midlands and studied Economics and Politics at the University of York, an MA in Economics in York Ontario and proceeded to study Philosophy for a doctorate at the University of Edinburgh.
Before completing my PhD, I took up a post of Assistant Professor (Lecturer) for the University of Evansville’s Harlaxton College for four years. That was fun - I was given the privilege to enjoy spreading out to teach British History, Economics, and Philosophy which appealed to my interdisciplinary tastes.
Transitioning over to college education I worked in the English school system (7-18 year olds) for about eighteen months before setting up a successful tutorial practice with my wife-to-be (2001-17) - that was an amazing experience working one-to-one with clients of all ages and abilities providing insights into how the maturing and mature mind work. During that time I wrote articles and philosophy books (see the author page), gave talks, spoke on the radio (local and national), and even had time to study chiropractic for 18months before starting a family!
From my publication research and my experiences as an educator and coach for young people, I am currently (2017) penning a series of books on Beliefs - on how to sort out our minds in a very distracting world. I can be found on my main website, alexandermoseley.com
