I loved the journey, learning new meanings of old words and getting over the fear of fear--changing my outcomes by changing my mind. Everything is ok if I want it to be. I did begin to get a little yawn nearing the end. Lots of examples and stories to relate to but too many to keep me that interested. I highly recommend never putting the book down to get through the first half. The second half, I would read later, in little bites.

An excellent, easy to read and understand book about asking for what you want. A little instruction coupled with very many samples of real life stories shared by readers who got what they want out of life by doing something that anybody can do - ask! A real eye opener to how simple it can be to unleash the power that lies within us all. I highly recommend this book to anybody and everybody.

Format: Audio Cassette Verified Purchase
I bought the book version of The Alladin Factor some 3 years ago and it was absolutely wonderful. I manifested some wonderful things from it - however I forgot the basic steps and bought the tape version, hoping to refresh my memory while using it in the car. I was disappointed as the tape version does explain much of value and is too abridged. To me, personally, it outlines and highlights the "wrong" (for use of a word) areas in the book. Having a unabridged version would be more beneficial.
Now I'm more careful when I'm buying audio tapes, ie I'll look for the unabridged version instead of abridged to save any further disappointments.
But buy the book, it's absolutely great!

I would recommend this book to everyone who needs hope and direction to get where they want to go. When I started reading this book I knew what I didn't want from my life but I didn't know what I wanted. The book slowly showed me that I knew all along what I wanted. I was just afraid to acknowledge my wishes. I was scared to go after the things I wanted. Of course, there is no quick fix. Knowing what you want is the first step of a long journey. Read this book, it will give you hope and get you in the right track to start the life you want.

This book was recommended to me when I was feeling in a spiral downward. I was in month 5 of being in business for the first time and my initial enthusiasm was waning fast.

My first few clients had already finished working with me, I was feeling more and more desperate as I couldn't find any new clients to work with me and I was "stalking" the few prospects I had rather than building relationships.

This book came at the right time for me and made me realise there were far easier ways (and more fun ways!) of asking for the business.

American motivation writing at its best, but still a great read made up of hundreds of little anecdotes and small stories which makes it an easy book to pick up and refer to over and over again. I would recommend this for anyone's business book shelf whether they run their own business or work within an organisation.

after reading the Alladin Factor you wonder how many times will I have to hear, "Ask and you shall receive," before it sinks in? Jack and Mark are like the postal service; They Deliver. Within the synergy only these two create, is the key to acquiring what you desire - ASK! Rub the lamp and ask the genie who lives inside us all for the Courage to open your mouth. We used to say nothing bad can happen when you ask at the end of the day - If it's been a good day and you receive by asking, it just got Better; if you ask and don't receive, who cares it's been a good day anyway. If it's been a Bad day and you don't receive, don't beat yourself up, it's been a bad day. BUT, if it has been a bad day and you Do Receive - Shazamm! - you just changed the WHOLE DAY. And not only that day but the next day and the next - You have the POWER to Ask. Desire without Action is a Wish - Read this book to begin making your wishes come True. Way to Go, guys, Another W! inner -- Keep Smilin' Mike Redding

This book's basic idea is that when you want something, you won't get it unless you ask. That principle is logical. Indeed, much of our unhappiness results from our failing to express our wishes. Instead, we often tend to rely on other people knowing what we want, and get mad at them if they don't.

Unfortunately, the authors drive that sensible idea to the extreme. If your honeymoon suite isn't as you expected, call the staff and give them hell. Never mind you spouse feeling embarrassed.

I know some people who act like that. They always go for the jugular even over trifles. They fight for every damn penny. They give no quarter even when a problem could be solved in a friendly way. I avoid such people like plague.

If you want everything to go your way, even at the price of everyone's thinking you're a self-righteous jerk, go ahead and use this book.
