Alright, so with time and a lot of patience - filling, sanding etc - you'll have a fairly good model of one of the most famous planes ever built. My biggest gripe was with the instructions. Apparently there's a choice between having 20mm cannon and either 3 or 4 Browning machine guns but there doesn't seem to be any clear indication how to go about making the choice (I put the cannon and 3 guns in), the cartridge boxes for the machine guns didn't fit when the wings were joined together - really poor tooling - and the magazine for the cannon is supposed to fit over the top wing when all joined up, the instructions have you putting them in the wing and then cutting a 1/2 inch hole in the top wing afterwards! I didn't bother.
My advice would be; buy this as cheap as you can get it. I've seen them going for 50 to 60 GBP but no way is it worth that kind of expenditure. Or get one of the other 1/24 Spitfire types done by the same company.
I'm pretty new to model making so learning as i go. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about trying your hand at it, if there's one thing it does do it forces you to take your time and be patient with it.
Box is huge not sure why though the model rattled around inside it.
Instructions are a bit challenging to figure out sometimes, if you get stuck walk away, drink a beer and it all becomes so much clearer!
