caution of rash from velcro!
on 7 April 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
This support truly helps my foot plantar fasciitis however the Velcro that attaches around my ankle causes a severe rash on my skin around lower ankle. This has happened each time I ware the brace and I do ware it over sock. I am going to experiment using a poly wrap under the Velcro to see if that makes a barrier. If not I will not be able to use this useful brace. If others have feedback I would like to hear.

I want to love it...
on 22 March 2014 - Published on Amazon.com
For the five or so hours I wore it before it broke and the air came out, it was great. I could walk normally, without pain from plantar fasciitis for the first time in several months. But, it broke, and now I've gotta figure out what I ought to do about it, which is probably going to cost me more in time than I spent on the thing.
Worked for achilles strain!
on 6 November 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
I really didn't have much hope for this for my achilles strain. I mean, look at it. It doesn't look like there's could be any major support for the achilles tendon. But I have to say that it made a HUGE difference. Before I put this on, I could walk around but every couple of minutes I'd somehow get my foot at the wrong angle or something and I would have piercing pain in my achilles tendon and up my calf. Once I started wearing this, that all but disappeared. I was very impressed.

Works until it fails
on 8 November 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
Worked great, at first. The 2nd week, the air bladders lost enough air that it became useless as ankle support. I am 250lbs, and only walked (no running or jumping) in the support. It says the bladders are tested up to 1000 lbs. Maybe you'll have better luck.

and it does support my heel when I walk and is quite comfortable and fits easily inside of shoes
on 30 April 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
I have been experiencing Achilles tendonitis and bought this to help hold my ankle steady when I'm not wearing boots. I think the design is ingenius, and it does support my heel when I walk and is quite comfortable and fits easily inside of shoes. The tendonitis hasn't completely disappeared, but I don't feel that's the fault of the Aircast. It's been a good tool in the overall treatment.
