These boots are amazing!I bought them to replace my Hunters, which lasted for a dire 13 months, not what is expected for the price!

After the initial issues with delivery (I do not rate city-link very highly) and amazon customer services were excellent in rectifying the issues, my boots arrived just three days after ordering late at night. Very impressed!

The boots themselves are AMAZING. Very comfortable, inside they are soft, squishy and orange!

They fit around my HUGE calves, seriously, I hardly fitted into my extra wide calf hunters (a pain when I basically live in my wellies), and no way could wear them with jeans, but these... I can wear with jeans!! Finally!

The sole is mega thick, more like a walking boot than a wellington, very happy with that as I am particularly uncoordinated and my last pair (hunters) were rubbish in snow and ice, these look like they will be very reliable. The rubber is thick and looks very durable.

I have even done some running in them, which they are quite comfy for, much lighter than the Parcour Vario Iso! Haven't tested them in warm weather but in frosty mornings they keep my feet toasty warm even with no socks on! :D

Lovely boots. Excellent price for the quality. Cannot recommend these boots enough! The quality is soooo much higher than Hunter, these should be the staple for welly lovers! I wish it were acceptable to wear them to my office!! :D

These wellingtons are fantastic. They are solid and very well made yet retain great flexibility making them a joy to walk in.They are extremely comfortable. I use them for Dog walking - not just a quick trot round the park - good 5 mile walks over fields etc and they do an admirable job! They did a 9 mile walk at weekend and were great. Two friends have bought the Aigle with Neoprene lining and say they are very warm but would perhaps be too warm in the spring/summer, so I decided to go for the Aigle with the Outlast lining. They are super and keep your feet at just the right temperature (although I guess the real test will come mid winter for warmth and hope that in the spring/summer the Outlast really does perform!!)
The picture makes the wellington appear to be very "stiff" but please be assured they are not - they are very comfortable - if you have been used to the suppleness of Hunter's these Aigles will not disappoint and they are of far superior quality. Sizing - I am a 7 and they fit really well. There is enough room to allow for a second pair of socks if you should wish, but there is no need to wear big thick welly socks as the wellingtons themselves offer sufficient insulation. Very happy with this purchase

These are fantastic wellies. Previously had Hunter Balmorals but have been totally unimpressed. Read lots of reviews before deciding to buy the Aigle Vario Outlast then shopped around because they are a lot of money for a pair of wellies, even ones I wear virtually every day. I also dithered about which size to buy - I am a 6 so do I get 5.5 or 6.5? Some reviews said sizing was generous so I decided to go smaller - definitely the right decision as even the 5.5 is a little on the generous size. Have worn them every day for 2 weeks and I love them. Can walk dogs for miles, muck out, ride and so far they are great. My priorities were not to slip in the mud and have warm feet - the Outlasts are succeeding admirably. Highly recommended.

I bought a pair of Hunters but was not satisfied with them so took them back. These beat them hands down in every department. For starters the quality is far superior. I bet I have these for years. They are much more comfortable, with a nice orange lining on the inside. The adjustable strap is also much easier to use than the Hunters one. I found the Hunters too tight on the calf (their adjustable ones felt flimsy, and still tight). These on the other hand seem much better designed.

I am a size 9 and was sent an EU 43 when I chose UK9. These are ok, I could probably have done with a 42, but with a thick sock I don't notice.

As someone else said the colour is more dark green than bronze, but happy with the look.

If you want to look like someone that takes their wellies seriously, these are for you.

Great boots. Bought as a replacement for some faulty Hunter wellingtons and these have been a revelation. They are so much better quality, are very comfortable and I love the way they look. I have always been a loyal Hunter wearer but after a new pair started cracking and leaking after 1 year, I decided to try something new. I chose Aigle because they are supposed to be very good for walking in and I walk about 5 miles a day with my dog over some very rough ground in the North East of Scotland. So far (1 year in) they have held up well. They are regularly in water, dragged through brambles and gorse, caught on barbed wire and exposed to salt at the beach. There is no sign of cracking or damage so far and my boots get little or no special care. The other benefit of these boots is the adjustable top. I have relatively wide calves and I find the Hunter adjustable boots quite tight even on their widest setting. The Aigle boots have plenty of space and I can actually tighten the clip which means I am not maxing them out. It also allows plenty of space for tucking in wide leg trousers if you are like me and look ridiculous in skinny jeans!
I was also blessed with wide feet (thank you mum!) and the Aigle boots provide plenty of room (even with 2 layers of socks). In fact, the boots are quite roomy inside and although I am normally a size 6 I am glad I went for the 5.5 (euro 39) vs a larger size.
The soles on these boots have some really good grips and they have been invaluable while walking over slip-slide mud in stubble fields this winter. They have also been pretty good on snow and ice, although you do have to take care. I quite often wear them for 2-3 hours at a time and they are comfortable and I have had no problems with blisters.
