This book outlines a pragmatic view across all agile frameworks. Its approach is at the heart of how we continually evolve the delivery and cultural effectiveness of our organisation. --Andrew Lee, Managing Director, William Hill Online
It's refreshing to see a well-balanced review of Agile and its methods. A text like this is long overdue. I'm encouraged to see Kanban presented in its rightful place in the history of the Agile revolution. --David J Anderson, Chairman, Lean Kanban Inc
This book provides a comprehensive and balanced view of the various Agile approaches. This information is particularly important for those considering adopting Agile as it allows informed decisions to be made and ensures the style of Agile chosen actually fits with the culture and constraints of the organisation where it will be used. --Mary Henson, Chief Executive, DSDM Consortium

Some parts of the book are interesting, but others are a bit dry and heavy-going. More case studies and examples would have brought the book to life more. Some parts would have benefitted from further proof-reading, since there are some small mistakes remaining.
If you're completely new to Agile you'll probably get some benefit from this book, but some of the very foundational concepts aren't really covered in enough depth if you've not encountered them before in the workplace.
This book will probably be more interesting to software people (developers, business analysts, project managers) than for business people who are getting involved in agile projects.
The list of references and further reading is particularly useful.
I found this book an excellent read and well structured.
Recommend to anyone who wants to truely understand the basics of Agile.
Overall a long and boring read, just for passing the exam- if anything from it gets asked.
It provides a good introduction to what it means to adopt an agile mindset, and would be a sensible first read for anyone about to embark on an agile transformation.
I would have liked the book to cover LeSS and DAD instead of making what appears to be a recommendation of SAFe, but it's a minor quibble.
