Cody Banks (Muniz) seems like a typical teenager but Cody has a really big secret even his family and best friends don't know: he's actually an elite undercover agent for the CIA.
Agent Cody Banks is a wish-fulfilment adventure for James Bond wannabes who are still too young to shave. Just in time for puberty's curtain call, Malcolm in the Middle's Frankie Muniz stars in the title role as a 15-year-old recruit to the CIA's youth-agent programme, who gets what millions of men desire: a face full of Angie Harmon's cleavage. (It's just for laughs; the sexy Law & Order alumnus plays Cody's CIA handler, but you've got to admit this Bond Girl with a boy thing is a bit perverse.) Otherwise, the movie's a low-rent Bond clone from the director of One Night at McCool's, with a pair of twisted villains (Ian McShane, Arnold Vosloo) threatening to unleash stolen "Nanobot" technology that can ruin everyone's day. It's barely fun enough to be worthwhile, but the best gag (at 007's expense) is buried in the soundtrack, when a CIA receptionist announces, "Will the owner of a silver Aston Martin please report to security... you are parked in a handicapped zone". So much for respecting your elders! --Jeff ShannonSee all Product description

For just ONE DVD it has superb extras. A very entertaining and informative director/ actor commenteray of the film, directors diary (following the writing to the filming, special effects to the film premiere) behind the scenes footage of rehearsals, filming. How they created the music, special effects plus a whole host of other things
Moving onto the film- very entertaining, great performances from frankie muniz, hilary duff and angie harmon
This is my favourite DVD ever- and not just because of the film. All in all, one of the best DVDs i have ever bought, well worth the money
However, I found I enjoyed the whole film, mainly because of the good back up crew of actors. McShane is superb and evil bad guy, Arnold Vosloo (the Mummy from The Mummy and Return of the Mummy) as his right hand enforcer, Angie Harmon as Bank's "handler" and Keith David (not David Keith mind you!) as the CIA director.
It light fun, yes, but great for the whole family to share. Not often, you find can find a film the family all will have fun sharing.
Muniz plays a brillant role, he is one of the best actors staring in Malcolm in the Middle. Duff brings in most of the views. This is brillantly planned and the gadgets are great!!!
BUT... the best reason is because it so back-achingly funny!!
both hilary and frankie were fantastic in this flim, they chould do more films together.
the gadgets were amazing in this film and well thought of.
a must see chilren and teenager film.
Frankie Muniz is excellent as Cody, doing many of his own stunts, and he plays the part with an interesting mix of confidence and vulnerability. For example, he's all action and bravery, yet almost in tears of confusion when taken off the mission and instructed to stay away from Natalie. His face says it all - I love the way Cody walks round his new school clutching his class timetable, I remember that. Hilary Duff is absolutely stunning and gorgeous as Natalie. Angie Harmon gets through goodness knows how many costume and makeup changes as glamorous but hard as nails CIA minder Ronica. An excellent supporting cast includes Ian McShane a sauve yet cold and sinister archetypal Bond villain. Fellow car enthusiasts will love the stunning red 1973 Dino Cody gets to drive.
The movie is packed with breathtaking photography, scenery and expensive sets, and awesome locations in and around Vancouver. The superb soundtrack includes a mix of excellent pop selections and an outstanding orchestral score by John Powell, at times Wagnerian in its thrust and delicacy. There is a huge list of interesting and informative featurettes, I learnt a great deal about special effects, stunts, shots and scoring, just from these! Also an enthusiastic interesting commentary with director Harald Zwart, Frankie Muniz and Angie Harmon. I really love everything about this movie, highly recommended.
