Initially I treated the announcement of this release as I know many others did. - Record Company Rip off. Having already bought the Classic Rock Fan Pack, Vinyl and Picture Disc formats of Aftershock , I was loathe to buy anymore.

However, last week on Holiday I noticed this in a Record Shop in Amsterdam. I purchased it on impulse and am very glad I did.

Now while you get the album Aftershock yet again, there are still many bonuses to this release. I will list them for you.

1. Nice Metallic Gold Digipak (not shown very well here in Amazons picture)
2. Nice Metallic Gold Discs.
3. Updated booklet with some great photos from this years tour.
4.Aftershock tour edition CD - Best of the Wast Coast.

The live CD is very good. Great versions of OVerkill, Damage Case and many more classics as well as new track 'Lost Woman Blues'.

This live album is a bit of a comfort to me as a long time fan after Lemmys recent spate of illness and it is indeed a much better live album than the last one theY issued 'The World is yours volume 2' which left me feeling maybe it was time they wrapped it up!

If you only buy one format of Aftershock, make it this one.

You can't beat a bit of heavy, dirty rock and roll to set your mood right - and Lemmy's outfit reigns supreme.

Aftershock is a great album with a nice mix of rock and roll and blues, with the bass turned up to 11.

Add in the fact it comes with a good selection of live recordings of some new and classics... and you can't go wrong

while i was awaiting for the new album i purchased this totally brought me back to my youth and in my mind blows the new album to bits but the new album is different and considering the problems with lemmy the aftershock is well worth having in your collection

Great edition of one of Motörhead's finest CDs to date. There's the studio album, of course, which demonstrates that nearly 40 years down the line, Lemmy & Co show no signs of slowing down or losing their songwriting mojo - plus a terrific extra live CD of tunes old and new recorded in 2014, featuring the climactic pounding triple-whammy of Killed by Death, Ace of Spades, and the mighty Overkill - probably the 'Head's finest moment. Well worth the money, even if you bought the 'ordinary' version of Aftershock first time around. Rock & Roll ain't worth the name if it don't make you strut!

It's classic Motorhead, you know what you'll get and the standard is consistently high. They're Motorhead and they play rock n roll.
