This is the first book I have read about this theme. Having been raised Catholic the afterlife is a theme that inspires me both curiosity and a bit of fear. The loss of a close relative recently made want to learn more about what happens after death. I really enjoyed the way the book is written, including research on the theme and the author's own experiences. I would recommend to anyone who has an interest in the afterlife or who has lost someone close. The book really made me think of death in a much more positive way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well done! 15 Jun. 2017

This book is very well written and the author did a great job of citing her sources (usually missing in most books). I especially liked how the author addressed various religious beliefs in perspective to the concept of afterlife. Also, the author did not sensationalize mediums, near death experiences, etc. like so many others who write on this topic. The work is very well researched and written in a rational rather than emotional manner. This book has really gotten me to thinking about my own beliefs! Great read!
