I took a chance when i bourght this album reading reviews believing the album was not to great. i got a nice surprise listening to it in my car thinking there are some good song and one's i would not call great but not totally rubbish. Many known producers and writers from the likes of westlife , boyzone and many more.Take a chance if you like these kinds of groups it's not an excellent album but still very easy to listen to.

When Bellefire released their debut single 'Perfect Bliss' in 2001 I rushed out to the shops to buy it.It was a slice of feel-good pop,and is the highlight of 'After The Rain'.I was expecting more of the same high-quality catchy,feel-good pop songs, but when I heard the album I was very disapointed. The album was a rushed job,and while it showcases the girls' incredible vocal talents, non of the songs on the album come close to the excellent 'Perfect Bliss'.The only songs which is in a similar vain is 'Surrender',which is like a poor-attempt to recapture the success of 'Perfect Bliss'.Of course this fails, and results in a track which soon loses it's appeal. The album is full of dull, drippy, boring ballads and there is plenty of filler material. There are also a number of covers ('All I Want Is You' and 'The Flame').However, there are some highlights...aswell as the 2 singles 'Perfect Bliss' and the cover of the U2 ballad 'All I Want Is You', there are at least 2 more tracks worth listening to.'Tell Me Now' is a lovely little song which was recently covered by Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus. She used it as the b-side to her 2nd single, which shows that it is not really good enough to be on an album, yet it is the highlight of this album. So there's an indication of how bad this album is.'I Can Make You Fall In Love Again' is another standout, but is still pretty dull. Not suprisingly, Bellefire were dropped before this album could be released in the UK.They have since lost a member and signed a new deal. They released the disapointing single 'Say Something Anyway' earlier this year, and are set to release a new album later this year.Hopefuly it will be better than 'After The Rain', sadly that won't be hard.
Best songs: 'Perfect Bliss', 'Surrender', 'All I Want Is You', 'Tell Me Now', 'I Can Make You Fall In Love Again'
Worst songs: All the ones not mentioned above.

5.0 out of 5 stars WHY AREN'T THEY ONE OF THE BIGGEST ACTS??? 16 Nov. 2002

Bellefire are a very good band! I simply love track 2! "Say it in a nice way. Do it the right way. I wish I could but I can't." Gone head girls! If you want to listen to some real music, Bellefire is for you! I don't know why it was only released in Japan, though. Me and my friends love them!
5.0 out of 5 stars All we want is Bellefire 26 Dec. 2002
By Liam Smith - Published on Amazon.com

Bellefire's debut album in Japan. I don't actually have this album i downloaded it. This is fantastic!!!
Perfect Bliss - An amazing celtic pop tune, very uplifting
I Wish I Could - Very cheery, and super catchy
Anywhere, Anytime - OK but not the best sounds a bit like Eurovision.
Find my Way - A grower, is fantastic once u've played it a few times.
Surrender - One of my faves, the chorus is amazing.
All I Want - U2 cover and a great ballad. Worthy of worldwide no.1
I can make u fall - Great mid-tempo tune but lacks attitude
Each Step That - A nice acoustic guitar tune
The Flame - Not Heard
All the money - I loved this but i'm sick of it now
Don't Let me Down - Love this but starting to sicken off it
Get You Out of my Mind - Great tune and it reflects on their Celtic Irish roots
If Living is Without You - A brilliant ballad written by the belles Beautiful!!
Tell me Now - A sweet ballad. Tad boring ut chorus is super soothing.
This album is allround fantastic. I am a no.1 fan of the Belles and do keep in touch. Bellefire are a fantastic band, that can sing, play their own instruments and write their own songs which makes them better than the rest. Bellefire rock 4eva!!
