A nice book and very informative. Pictures looked a bit surreal and HDR, which I'm not so keen on. Also, could have done with the camera settings written next to each picture as you look at them. These were completely lacking. A nice book nonetheless.

Very informative book for budding wildlife photographers and encompasses a lot of the diverse aspects of wildlife photography. It covers all the fundamental aspects and intermediate attributes anyone with an interest in wildlife photography require. It includes excellent photographs captured during the great migration, this is great value and a good read.

I have been into digital photography for about 24 months and I am still absorbing the technicalities. Martin Pruss's ability to put things in an understandable way has made life much easier, not only on the technical front but also in commonsense ways to take my wildlife photographs to a new level.
The book has some great photos captured during the great migration in Kenya. The book teaches you the elements required to enable you to shoot great wildlife photos at home, in Africa or around the world. A good read, and some amazing stills can't recommend it enough.

Really, really disappointed with this book. So disappointed in fact that I returned it to Amazon - the first item I've ever returned due to poor quality.

The book refers only to Canon throughout, offering no comparisons or advice on other brands. The paper is of poor quality - no lovely glossy photographs as one would expect with a book of this type. The book is so poorly put together that the print on the pages is on a slant! The text is large, meaning that there's not really much info in the book. Condense the text to "normal" size and the book would probably be half the length.

Overall, very disappointed with the quality. Cheap product, but not a cheap price tag. I don't normally review products online, but I felt so strongly about this one, as I wouldn't want anyone else to be as disappointed as I was with my purchase.
