This is the first LED fan I have purchased, as I'm going for a black and neon blue theme. It comes with four screws and a 3/4 pin power connector, so it can be plugged into either your motherboard or power supply.
First off, I was underwhelmed by the overall build of the fan. As has been mentioned in another review, it feels like very cheap plastic.
When installing the fan, make sure you're doing it on a work area, or that you have some layer put down; the holes for the screws are not pre-threaded, so when you put the screws in, you will encounter paint shavings. Also, putting the screws in in this manner can damage the screws, so be aware of that.
When the fan is finally installed, it is quite fantastic. It is taking in a decent supply of cold air, and the colour is just the shade I wanted. It doesn't kick out a *lot* of light, but that may be due to the air filter I have in front of the fan more than the actual LEDs themselves. There isn't a huge noticeable increase in sound with the fan installed, so it is quite silent. Of course, time will tell if the product remains this way. There is no vibration noise form the fan, which I'm guessing can be a problem with other fans, considering some of them advertise the fact that they come with anti-vibration grommets.
So, overall, yes it feels cheap, and getting the screws in (and out!) can be a right royal pain in the A, but the fan performs well.
