This book is a fundamental to understand the theor y of Laplace transforms and other transform techniques which is a basis of all modern theories on Digital Signal Processing. This books is still handy compared to one in school I used in 1981!

Kreysig - still the standard work. I didn't really understand it 20 years ago and my maths hasn't moved on! If you're a Mathematician or one of the 5% of Engineers who can solve a differential equation while eating lunch or invert a matrix in your sleep, Kreysig is for you. If you're an Engineer with some but limited Mathematical knowledge, know what you want to do (eg write an FFT algorithm, fit a cubic spline to data) and want to be told how in fairly simple terms, forget Kreysig ! Does anyone know the book I'm looking for?
