The unstoppable #1 Bass series has cemented itself as the leading compilation in sub-lo frequencies and there’s no better time for Ministry of Sound to unleash a huge collection of the biggest House, Bassline, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, and Electro bombs. The Bass scene is as big as ever right now due to a whole range of genres contributing and culminating into an ever changing, cutting-edge sound. With global superstar artists such as Skrillex and Nero bringing Dubstep into the mainstream and the likes of Chase & Status & DJ Fresh smashing D&B to the forefront of the charts there is just no stopping this brutal tidal wave.
The multi award winning Wideboys are back at the helm dropping an eclectic mix providing that essential fix for any serious bass addict! We kick off with an explosion of huge upfront D&B and Dubstep smashes including an exclusive use of the DJ Fresh single "Hot Right Now" and Radio 1 favourite Utah Saints Vs Drumsound & Bassline Smith "What Can You Do For Me", alongside Calvin Harris, Nero, Skrillex, Example, Flux Pavillion plus loads more.
The heavyweight second CD has all the biggest urban artists present featuring Yasmin, Wretch 32, Roll Deep, Wiley, Ms Dynamite... the list goes on! We then wrap things up with some powerful thundering House from the likes of Chuckie, Laidback Luke and Afrojack. Get ready for a serious assault on your speaker.

It's 3 cds of base music full of dub step, drum n base, base line and r n b.
My favourite has to be cd 1 as it's packed with lots of dub step and drum n base and even both in together. The others are a mix of base line etc which are great but cd 1 and a little of 2 are more for me as it's three of my fave types of music in one place.
My advice, would be to look into the other artists that are also on the cd not just the first few songs!
If you're happy with previous Addicted to Bass, or this type of music, then it's worth getting this too imo =)
2012? I think most of these tracks originate from 2009-2010 - as there's very little 'current' stuff on there.
There's so many decent bass'y songs in the chart right now, and these could have mixed together nicely - but they just seem to have revisted the same old 'classics' and clicked 'recycle'.
I think what's going on is that MoS has lost interest in this series and allowed it to be converted into yet another dreary generic MoS club comp chock full of lame 4 on the floor filler tracks... which obviously suits The Wideboys down to the ground...
