I bought this as a supplement to a class I was doing at university on the subject. I found that the first few chapters were an interesting read but I found that the book was too specialized to particular adaptations so I did not end up using it very much at all. I would only recommend getting this if you are interested to read about the particular texts/films that this book contains.
