I read this book 6-years ago after a devastating divorce. I checked my book collection and noticed that I didn't have the book anymore so I ordered a copy from Amazon.
It's an excellent story about a woman's struggle to move herself and her children out of poverty. Her candid account connects with the reader on a human level as she expresses her thoughts and experiences of moving from native Nigeria to settle in the UK. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
