Tracking fitness is just one of the many possibilities
12 November 2018
There was a day when a Fitness Tracker would have been ideal for me but when disability kicks in it is time to see how it suits someone else – like my wife who never sits at peace. It seems everybody seems to want one of these trackers in a bid to keep fit or to see how fit they are already so with so many on the market I was careful to choose the right one and I got my Minluk model for £35.99 as it had many excellent features.
As a Fitness Tracker it is also an activity tracker with pedometer blood pressure heart-rate monitor and can also be used as a calorie counter, sleep monitor and is able to call via SNS or SMS as a reminder to people with android or iPhones.
The choice is yours as to what you want to use it for and if it is to record your steps and distance my non-sporting wife can still notch up a huge number of each. You can check to see how many calories you have burned if you are watching your daily intake and the ones I think of as really useful are the blood pressure and heart rate abilities that give a comprehensive analysis.
The more complicated bit for me was to connect the tracker’s bracelet to the phone via APP and set in the App (H Band), but once you have done it, it is easy.
It just has so many features you could hardly imagine and if you use Facebook, Twitter, What’s App etc you can get SMS and SNS messages from them all. Other features include the ability to use it as a stopwatch, phone tracking, remote photo, running mode, and alarm clock – you might need that if you tire yourself out trying to raise your daily steps and distance.
There is just so much to be obtained from this little tracker on its attractive blue waterproof wristband. Reading the instructions, as it will take days for us to get through all the aspects available, the technical site offers the promise of so much use with your smartphone such as installing the free App ‘H Band’ by scanning the QR code on the manual or searching in Google Play or Apple App Store. You can connect the tracker with the App and data will be synced to it.
This wonderful little piece of technology is going to provide great interest and useful activity for weeks to come and already other family members are queuing up to try it out for a day on their own – that says it all!
