Format: Paperback
A great reference guide to games and activities which engage all types of learners. Easy to follow and versatile, the activities are attractive to children of primary school age and any group working with young people. We have used many of the games and ideas in our school with great success, motivating the children to learn and work effectively with their peers. Embracing the forest school ethic, the activities and ideas in this book encourage children to become more independent learners as they discover, create and challenge themselves in a less restricted enviornment. The contents of this book are highly recommended by teaching staff, forest school leaders and children alike.

Full of brilliant ideas, lessons and good advice on outdoor learning. This second edition is even better with it's field guides on plants, trees and wildlife. My class loved the outdoor art activities. Would highly recommend to all primary teachers and students. It could also be useful for cubs / scouts, play groups or anywhere that children are playing and learning outdoors.

This is a clear, practical handbook, clearly laid out in curriculum topic chapters, with plenty of ideas for cross curricular activities.
Suitable for primary school use and home use for any supportive parent who wants to build on what's done in school. Full of excellent ideas.
