It took about an hour to un-pack and assemble the bike. The instructions state that the bike is fully adjusted and checked over in the factory, this was generally true, however I found the front brake needed adjusting (this needs a smaller Allen key than the one supplied). Once I've done a few miles I’ll check all the adjustments again anyway.
Once assembled and the tyres were pumped up the bike looked very smart with the black gloss frame and silver mudguards; the paint finish was very good and all welds on the steel frame were neat and tidy. It is heavy but the firm steel frame, full-size mudguards, side stand, big comfy saddle, rear carrier and the tyres that are fitted are perfect for a commuter bike. On riding the bike felt safe and secure, the gear-shifters worked flawlessly and the brakes are very powerful. For its intended market this is a good bike.
I would advise to read them first , fitting the front wheel was the hardest having to move the brakes to get wheel in it would be better if wheel was fitted at the factory and put in a bigger box apart from that an OK bike

I've made a video to demonstrate the main problem, just in case nobody believes me!
Putting the bike together wasn't particularly difficult, it's the design that's at fault. Perhaps mine was shipped with the wrong pedal parts, that's a possible explanation, but the result was that the bike was impossible to ride and I had to send it back.

Reliable city bike except its quiet heavy and came with bent wheels; Lucky i had some one who could fix the wheel frame for no cost. Its OK noting special for the price i got.Published 5 months ago by SATISH
I was surprised I had to part assemble the bike myself and the back brakes do not work - I have tried adjusting them. Otherwise okay for getting me from A to B.Published 9 months ago by Kirwan Lestrange
Brilliant bike for the money. I am enjoying cycle rides into the country. The only tiny negative was the large ring nut on the bar stem had been damaged at some point which made it... Read morePublished 14 months ago by Kerris
