There are a few decent recipes in here, but they are few and far between with most of them lacking a bit of flair that could easily transform them into something much better. Do we really need a page on how to cook frozen chips?!
There's also nothing in here about cooking without the paddle in. In my limited experiments on fried chicken, it's much better to leave the paddle out and turn everything halfway through, otherwise the paddle knocks off all the coating on your chicken. Nor is there a section on 'one pot wonders', which would be a useful to working parents who want to come in, bung everything into the pot and 30-45 mins later they've got a decent mid-week meal.
It'll do for a novice cook/student/OAP, but if you're a decent cook and looking to add something to your repertoire it misses the mark.
in any of the recipes or basic information for temperature of sausages , bacon, chips, beef burgers .you are left totally in the dark as other
book tell you what temperatures are this would be important if you are making up your recipes
