Very short but quite fun and punchy minimalist call to arms, trying to forcefully persuade the reader of the benefits of eliminating the excess from one's life to relentlessly focus on what you really want to do. The title provides the author a decision-making mechanism to tackle one of those questions that dominate many lives: what should I be doing with my life right now? The overall message is quite simple, but is expressed well and clearly and in such a way as that it might provide that spark of inspiration to someone feeling a bit lost or discontent and help them sort out their priorities and guide them to building a better, more fulfilled life. Distilled, he emphasizes the importance of being brave and taking risks. There is an interesting chapter on moral relativism which is a good read, but perhaps doesn't gel that naturally with the other themes of the book. Like most minimalist writers, he dwells on the idea that living within one's means is a very important step in achieving fulfillment and happiness and also that advertising and branding is a key enemy of this.

Well-written and engaging and recommended to those looking for - or needing - a short, sharp minimalist shock!

I think if you have an interest in being happy that this is a good book to help motivate and encourage you to start living the life you actually want to lead rather than the life people expect you to lead. But as always it is subjective to what you want, which is made very clear by the author, using examples and techniques to help you get to this knowledge or what you want your life to be.
