If looking for details and understanding about GERD don't bother with the book just look up the information online. This is useful for just a basic understanding of GERD and it lists which foods are best and why and which foods are best avoided. On that basis it is ok.

As others have said, it is a useful lists of food for those who suffer from the painful and debilitating experience of acid refulx etc. There is not much more to recommend it. You could have trawled this information off the internet but this book is saving you the time and giving it to you at a reasonable price.

useles.. All this book told me is what I aleady knew i.e. avoid spicy food etc. £7.99 for a skinny little book that simply list different foods that are not spicy is a rip-off. If I hadn't folded the front page back as I opened it I would send it back
